Onceuponasaurus likes:- the red jelly bits in rocky road,
- windy weather, and
- the sound of calling seagulls,
- the sound of people kissing on T.V. shows and in movies,
- fluorescent lighting, and
- the phrase “I'd like to pick your brain.”
I'm new to BCC Library Services and am really enjoying (amongst other things) checking in, checking out and shelving a different type of collection. I used to work in an academic library, where I was handling yawn-worthy textbooks all day. But at BCCLS, it's one tasty read after another passing through my hands! Yesterday, for example, there was one on Japanese brush painting with beautiful pictures, an illustrated encyclopaedia of saints (I'm not religious, but it looked interesting anyway), a book for prospective parents called What to Say to Your Partner Before You Have a Baby (intriguing!) a CD of various singers covering Joni Mitchell songs... It's a smorgasbord everyday :0)
Well, it's getting late... I should wrap up and get to sleep.
